How does booking work?

The calendar is open for booking up to 4-6 weeks into the future. This means that appointments available anytime between today and 4-6 weeks from now can be booked. If there is a day that is fully booked or not available on the calendar yet, please add yourself to the waitlist. As soon as a spot becomes available for the given day, you will receive an email alert so you can proceed to book.

What you see is what we see. All availability will be visible online. Any last minute appointments will be announced on our Instagram page. We will typically contact you a few days before your appointment to confirm. If we reach out to you and you do not confirm, we might have to cancel your appointment.

What happens if I am late?

Your appointment is what you make of it. If you are late or your hair is not prepped properly, that time will be deducted from your services. This means that we will spend less time on boosting the health of your curls. For example, if you are 15 min late, we will have to shorten the time of your deep treatment or use styling products that dry more quickly in order to make up for lost time. If you want the most out of your appointment, we suggest arriving 5 min early.

*If you are 30+ minutes late, we will have the right to cancel your appointment and you will be forfeiting your deposit.

Cancellation/ Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment after booking, you can do so with at least 24 hours notice. You can do this online through Vagaro (check previous confirmation email).

*If you cancel/reschedule with less than 24 hours notice, you will not be refunded your deposit. In this case, please call or text the studio directly at 973-558-4720.

In order to stay afloat as a small business, we ask that you take your appointment commitment seriously. Please do not book on a whim, as every cancellation typically results in a 25-30% loss of business income for any given day.

*Communication and honesty are the best policies. The better you communicate with us, the better we can assist you.

Payment

Payment for services are only accepted via debit or credit card. For gratuity, we would appreciate cash or have it be added on the card used for payment.
